It’s Fall! Some tips to help you enjoy our forests, state parks, and nature preserves at their finest!
Fall is a beautiful time of year in Ohio, a time when days are crisp and invigorating, and trees assume their autumn coats of red, yellow, and orange. Typically, the first bright colors are along Lake Erie with the march of autumn hues gradually moving south to end for us along the Ohio River.
To enjoy our forests, state parks, and nature preserves at their finest, the ODNR is providing a website, fallcolor.ohiodnr.gov.,that offers weekly color updates and information to plan a fall color adventure, as well as weekly videos highlighting fall color hotspots, links to fall activities, scenic road trips, and more.
